For the Component 2 Section A I would also add that it's a good idea to revise the Bechdel-Wallace Test. Remember the key rules:
- At least two NAMED female characters; - They must have a conversation without men present;
- That conversation must not be about men. For your reference, The IT Crowd S4E2 The Final Countdown, immediately fails. Though it has two named female characters (Jen and Ivana) they never meet for a conversation at all. The remaining female members of 8+, Jen's female colleagues and Alistair's girlfriend do not get named. Equally, Friends S1E1 The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate, mostly fails. Though Rachel and Monica are both named and have several conversations, almost all of them are about Barry…
